5 Months! Ain't No Way Bruh

Cómo está todos? I hope everyone's week has been just a treat. My 5 month mark as a missionary was Nov 11 and so that's kinda crazy! Also we have transfers wednesday, and my trainer Elder Bawden is leaving to go to Baltimore as a Zone Leader, so that's sick! I'm getting Elder Starr, I've not really talked to him before much, bc he's been in Baltimore for the past bit, but I know he's a good missionary, and he's super funny and overall I think we'll get along and just have a ball. Missionary work is so fun, it just keeps us so busy and so full of spirit, and it's something that I wish I could feel forever. We've had a rougher time recently in Westminster, it seems like Nobody wants to listen, and it's even harder when there's a very limited amount of Latinos here, but the search is part of what makes it fun haha. Here are some highlights of my week:

- Exchanged with an Elder who's been out for 1 transfer, and we had to try to speak Spanish to some people, but overall we did good.

- We've been helping our friend loly who was baptized last week, prepare to go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead! I'm so excited to go to the Washington DC Temple.

- Honestly just tons of door to door knocking, because all our friends are getting dropped.

- Literally everyone is either sick, or "sick", with flu, and it has started getting really dark at like 5pm and so everyone thinks it's too late to talk to us.

- We went into a trailer park that had apparently a no trespassing sign to it, but we said who cares and talked to some people. Then someone called the manager of the trailer park or something and he came and told us we have to leave while we were talking to someone on a door contact, after we were going to leave and we saw this lady racking her leaves, so being nice guys we decided to help her rack then really quick, and while we were just helping her, the same manager pulled up in his car and said "So you guys started up a leaf raking service then?!" , and that was kinda out of pocket bc we were literally just helping her. He said we could finish and then leave, but then he flipped around to talk to the lady and her told her to make sure we left after we were done, and that he really didn't want to kick us out then she said " don't kick them out then!" Savage moment from a random stranger we had just met.

- We went to Gettysburg and it was pretty dope.

Spiritual moment
We have been talking to this woman named Jenny and her husband Gabriel, and they have had a few very difficult things in their life happen and it's made them lose their faith. She said she has prayed before to get answers and to know why things have happened to her, but she feels that she hasn't been answered. But I was able to tell her that by us being here that we are answering her prayers. This gospel and this plan of happiness that we share helps everyone no matter the situation, and what we are sharing with her is exactly the answers she needs. So I just want to tell you guys to be patient, God will answer you, maybe not in the timing that you want, but he knows when you need to be answered so don't give up, keep praying, keep talking to our father. He wants to talk to you, and I have seen such a huge change in my life through just prayer. Keep praying guys!
