Bautismoooo

Hola everyone! I hope everyone's great! First things first, Our friend loly (Loida) was baptized yesterday! It was such an awesome moment, and I know it's going to be such a blessing throughout her life, especially with the gift of the holy ghost which she received right after the baptism. She is awesome, and our next step with her is to get to the temple! Which I guess we can do a soon as possible, so I might be able to get to the DC Temple with her soon! People like her really help me know that God loves all of us and that he is preparing people to recieve this message and gospel into their lives. A few other things:

- taught two 50+ minute long lessons which led to nothing but light bashing and not excepting the book of mormon.

- We dropped a tonnn of people from our teaching pool because no one was progressing.

- Halloween happened, and we had a lesson with Loly, and before that we stalked the streets of Westminster with the other english elders to see how trick n treating was going! It really made me want to be a kid again lol.

- We had Olive Garden with some members because Elder bawden is going to be leaving really soon for transfers, so stay tuned for who my new comp will be.

- My lovely sister got home from her own mission this past Tuesday! I know she was a great missionary, love you sis.

- After the district council we got free pizzas from a friend and on our way to his restaurant we drove past a car with 2 alpacas in it!!! We took a video but it's too Long haha it was so funny though. I took a selfie with them.

Some spiritual that I've learned this week is about faith! We got talking about how atheistism is so sad, because they will die thinking there is nothing after, and either way if they were right or wrong, they didn't have as much happiness as they could've. We can't have clear cut answers, otherwise there would be no faith involved. This life is the time to test that faith, and God has given us just enough knowledge of what we need to do to press on and make one leap of faith after another. I have seen in my life when I don't act on my faith and when I do, and I can truly tell you that acting on faith brings soooo much more joy and relief. I urge everyone to take those steps of faith, read your scriptures, pray, go to church, repent everyday, and I promise you will feel peace in your lives!
