Baptism For All!!
Cómo han estado? How have you guys been?! I'm so sorry for not sending out an email in such a long time, thats my B. I hope you havnt all forgotten about me hehe. Anyways lots of things have happened since i last sent out an email, one of those things is that I finally went to my second area. Its called Columbia Maryland! There definetly are more latinos here, and so thats been fun so far. Its definetly helped my spanish and I honestly feel pretty comfortable speaking the language now. I was made senior companion over my new companion Elder Stewart, and he only has 6 months as a missionary, so we are pretty young out here in Columbia, but its been super fun. My new comp is pretty tall, and I'd like to consider myself somewhat tall, so hopefully we not out here intimidating some latinos. Its crazy to see the difference of how latinos respond to us knocking on there doors from this area and my first area. Here they are a little bit less eager to talk to us is what ive seen, but thats okay hopefully theyll want to talk to us one day! A few months ago we started talking to the best friend of our new convert Loly her name is Zsizsy haha, and her and Loly are very very similar, they both accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ pretty quickly and are invested in learning more each day, they are very humble. This past Sunday Zsizsy was baptized!! I sadly missed it by 1 week becuse I had to move here to Columbia, but I'm super happy for her and this amazing decision she has made. Other than that everything has been pretty chill lately, we are just trying to find new people to teach and help the amazing members here learn more and endure to the end. I love my mission, I love our savior Jesus Christ, and I know I would not be feeling the joy I feel right now without him. He is the way, he is the light, please turn to him every single day. We cannt make it in this world alone, it is not possible. But through him anything is possible, so please remember him always, remember that he can heal any wound that you have. Please dont be scared to turn to him, fear only comes from satan.
I know that what I do as a missionary is ordained from God himself, this is his true church upon the earth and he has restablished it through modern day prophets. The book of mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, and if you dont believe it, read it, pray about it, and you will know it is. I love you all, if you ever need anything please message me.
