Gimme More Columbia!

Que tal squad? I pray you're all good and you're able to tan and be warm during the start of the summer! I sure have! I have a nice tan line where my watch is and around my neck, the white collared shirt is doing my dirty. Anyways, I haven't sent an email in a bit! I hope you're all good. I'm going to be here in Columbia Maryland for 1 more transfer and then I'm probably going to be leaving after that. 4 transfers definitely is a good amount of time. Things are going to be changing soon. We will have a new mission president named president brigham so that'll be exciting! At this point, I am almost at the year mark, I'm pretty used to missionary life. It's been lots of fun lately. I'm super happy to be a missionary and help others find the truth and happiness they need in their lives. I have found many people that have a hard time committing to the process and it's so hard for me to see. I know God wants all of us to find him and commit ourselves to his path. That's what God asks us to do. We promise to him we will do certain things, and he in turn promises blessings that are just the best! It is really hard for people to change, they get stuck in a habit of going day to day in their regular routine not really knowing how much they are missing out on the blessings of God. One thing our current mission president told us is that the scariest word for him is "deceived". Deceived is when someone is doing something wrong or incorrect and they don't even know that they are. He then applies that to everyone who doesn't have the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ and how God truly has restored the fullness of the truth on the earth again. There are billions of people who are being deceived right now, not because they want to be deceived but because they don't know that they are! That's why we need missionaries, to help these people understand how much they are missing, the hope, the joy, and the great amount of blessings they could be receiving if they can accept Jesus and God into their lives. I am grateful to be able to do this work and share the good news of the gospel. I hope that you all are being missionaries in your own little ways, and helping those who are willing to change come into the light! Love you all so much.
